Acceptance is their way of being. They earn their freedom from the pain of change by total surrender to the ways of rain

what a session looks like

attune

It starts with building the safety to connect and validate your experience. Identify what you need to feel more resourced, supported, and connected.

embody

Next, we translate that into the felt sense.  Cultivating experiential wisdom to bring you back into balance and sharpen your intuition.

integrate

Finally, reflective exercises to anchor the somatic + neocortical connection. Small practices to integrate this into your real life for lasting impact.

about me

Hello! My name is Chris Bourke. I am an eternally curious person with a flair for creativity and metaphor (hence the water themes!). But more importantly, I am mental health practitioner and embodiment coach committed to helping people rediscover their whole self and find their way back to balance when life's waters get really chaotic.

12+ years working in community mental health and addictions has left me with a pretty unshakable confidence in people. I believe wholeheartedly in the innate human capacity to heal, grow and reorganize through change. And what I think helps people most is the space/time to rest, reflect and re-integrate via embodied presence.

I have witnessed the power of embodiment firsthand - as a mental health professional and through some of my very own personal tragedies. I use this experience to offer practical and compassionate life skills that support a greater alignment between what you feel on the inside and how that’s effectively expressed in the outside world (what is often called congruence).

By accessing the experiential wisdom of your heart/mind/body, you can live with greater ease, stronger safety, and deeper connections.   You can find a reliable source of strength and loving presence even when things are feeling really tough.

I have seen this happen time and time again, and I would be honoured to help you see the same.
